This rug is woven from 100% New Zealand wool.
We include the wool origin because it is a genuine material specification, while the character of the rug comes from the combination of natural wool, handweaving and kilim construction.

HANDWOVEN CHARACTER
Each rug is woven by hand, so small differences in weave, texture and colour placement are expected.
These variations are part of the handmade character of the rug rather than defects.
Natural wool fibres can also settle and soften subtly with use.
RUG PAD RECOMMENDED
We recommend using a suitable non-slip rug pad underneath the rug, particularly on smooth flooring.
A rug pad can help reduce slipping and movement, add cushioning, improve stability and reduce unnecessary movement and wear.
CARE
Vacuum regularly using low suction.
Do not use a rotating brush or beater bar, as this can disturb the wool fibres.
Blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub.
Do not soak or machine wash.
Professional cleaning is recommended for deeper cleaning or difficult stains.
