Jute is a plant-based natural fibre with a distinctive textured surface and visible variation from strand to strand.
The flatwoven construction keeps the rug relatively low profile while allowing the texture and natural character of the jute to remain clearly visible.

HANDWOVEN CHARACTER
Each rug is woven by hand using natural jute fibres.
Small differences in fibre tone, weave and surface texture are expected and are part of the handmade character of the rug rather than defects.
Natural jute can also soften subtly with use over time.
RUG PAD RECOMMENDED
We recommend using a suitable non-slip rug pad underneath the rug, particularly on smooth flooring.
A rug pad can help:
• Reduce slipping and movement
• Add cushioning
• Improve floor grip
• Reduce unnecessary movement and wear
CARE
Vacuum regularly using low suction.
Do not use rotating or beater brush heads, as these can catch or disturb the natural jute fibres.
Blot spills promptly with a clean absorbent cloth. Do not rub.
If necessary, use only minimal moisture when spot cleaning and avoid saturating the fibres.
Do not soak natural jute.
Professional cleaning is recommended for deeper stains.
